Purpose of Assignment

The purpose of this assignment is to give learners experience creating a training and development video for operations managers that addresses methods for two processes.

Assignment Steps

Choose your own organization or one you know well to use for this assignment (My chosen organization that I have worked on is Starbucks Organization). Concentrate on processes in the organization that, if improved, would make the organization operate more efficiently. You may use the same organization you used Week 1 (Attached below are a couple of assignments I worked on regarding Starbucks)

Use a 6- to 8-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® to write a script you would use to create a 5- to 6-minute video.(My professor based on the subject topics below, likes for us to keep within required powerpoint slide presentation maximum number,,,excluding title page slide and reference slides).

Explain your training and development strategy for your chosen organization (Starbucks) Be creative.

  • Prior to developing your video script, create a one-page survey to assess training needs.
  • Add the survey questions and responses to one slide in your presentation. Please do not create and submit a separate file for this.
